Level 1, Static. Users click links and view pages (with graphics that can include clips and animations) describing your company, your products, and/or your services. Pages for contact info, links, privacy and more. Site is optimized to meet criteria of major search engines and directories. Level 1 sites to not allow online interaction between you and the viewer.

Level 2, Form Processing. Level 2 sites provide forms for users to interact with your company. They can place orders, provide contact info, subscribe to your newletter or mailing list, ask questions, make requests, or add comments. You cannot accept online payment with a level 2 site.

Level 3, E-commerce and Forms. In addition to forms, this level provides "Buy Now" buttons or a "shopping cart." Powered by PayPal, the Level three sites allow you to sell products online and accept payment by major credit cards. No membership is required of your shoppers, and PayPal offers a high level of security and the cheapest rates in the industry.

Level 4, Database Integration. Database integration opens up many features to Web applications. You can add a login-and-password screen to restrict access to your site or parts of your site, and you can allow viewers to input and retrieve information through specially designed forms. For instance, you and your users can check stock or enter a search string to locate information in your site. Databse storage can also boost the performance of your site.
